Warren is now on L3 and I have no further comment about him whatsoever. (LIAR)
Oilers are gonna be popular tonight as they are
1) Playing the Hawks and are -500 favourites
2) Relatively reasonably priced
3) On a seven game win streak
So what the hell do you do with the Oilers?
I DON’T KNOW!
If I had multiple entries in the $888 I would certainly have a few without the Oilers.
If I had one entry in the $888 I would also probably play it without the Oilers.
So, maybe I do know but It’s uncomfortable to say fade McDavid when the Oilers could easily score 8 goals.
As a Flames fan though, it is fun to watch the Oilers choke when they should smash.
Maybe if you ARE playing the Oilers you can play Warren Foegele along with McDavid/Drai. Maybe that’ll be different enough.
Slate Specific Thoughts:
Option A – Top 7 from each full line (7 from each of FL1, FL2, FL3)
Option B: Top 20 lines by median projection.
*I included EDM3 as a bonus above because I pretty much HAVE to at this point.
Looking at the goalies and seeing a cheap Arizona goalie has me wondering if a Pens PP stack is in order? Oh, what’s that you say? The Pens haven’t scored on the PP since the days of Mario Lemieux? Yeah that is a tough one. Maybe a regular 5v5 stack with Sid/Guentzel/O’Connor will suffice.
For other line 3’s I think SEA3 and DET3 are my favourites.
Are people going to forget about Winnipeg playing San Jose as the late game hammer?
I almost did!
I think most players will remember too. Kyle Connor being out really makes the Jets lines kind of sad. L1 is cheap though at only $15400. For some reason, Mason Appleton and L3 is sticking out too me too.

Defencemen
Sergachev may be popular if Hedman is completely ruled out. However, as of now Hedman is still a game time decision. Even if Hedman ends up playing, I wouldn’t worry too much about keeping Sergachev in your lineup if you already played him.
Seth Jones is OUT for the Blackhawks, and based on previous games for them my guess is that Alex Vlasic takes over that PP1 spot. He’s been playing 20+minutes a night lately so for $3k he’s probably a decent punt.
Goalie
Will Connor Ingram be popular at $7K on the road in Pittsburgh? Maybe as the pens have lost four straight. I’d bet the Oilers jammers will use him.
If you are fading the Oilers you might as well take a flyer on Mrazek at $6800. If he wins his score is gonna be outrageous. However, based on -500 odds he’s only gonna get there ~17% of the time!
