When building for these contests, we typically want to roster the most reliable chalk pieces we can and then ultimately, find either one major leverage point or find 1-2 small pivots. You are NOT chasing an optimal score. You're trying to gain enough leverage to pass the field for the contest you're in.

In these contests, if I don't need to make multiple pivots, I want to try and limit how many situations I need to get right. This leads me to harp on correlation a bit more than larger field contests.
