Macro NBA Defensive Stats

- WAS and DAL are allowing the most fantasy points per minute to opponents at a rate of 1.08 FPPM
- The Hornets and Cavs are allowing the fewest FPPM on the slate and are playing each other. However, this should theoretically be one of the more competitive games on the slate resulting in more secure minutes.
- IND, ATL, and UTA also present good matchups for their opponents. There is no shortage of teams to attack tonight.
Macro NBA Combo Stats

- WAS/IND is the top matchup on the slate and are projected to be far less owned overall than they were yesterday. As of now, they are both expected to have shorter rotations than last night so don’t be afraid to go back to the well at lower ownership.
- MIN/DAL is the next best game environment but the Wolves are currently double-digit favorites. Depending on how many active bodies DAL has there may be little blowout risk regardless.
- ATL/MIA is middle of the pack tonight as far as game environments but ATL is a top matchup for opposing teams, the spread is close, and it has the highest total on the slate. Best of all, outside of Jalen Johnson neither side is garnering much ownership.
Trending Players

There is a plethora of value options tonight. While some of these same value ceiling plays were landmines last night tonight is a new slate. Additionally, some of these like IND and WAS have even shorter rotations tonight than the did last night. Thankfully, there are also plenty of pivots from those guys if you still have the bad taste in your mouth. MIL, MEM, DAL, and CHA all have some cheap options with increased opportunity.
If you want to research these dudes yourself, go over to the gamelogs tool and look into their rotations and performances!
Portfolio Analysis Exposures

When you run 1,000 lineups into the portfolio manager and do some filtering, you end up with the above results. Some notes:
- Jalen Johnson stands out again as the clear top spend-up option tonight. He has legit been value Jokic with a tan.
- As mentioned above there are plenty of value options that pop up, but far less from IND/WAS.
- Your core tonight is going to be a mix of MEM value, IND or DAL midrange, and Jalen Johnson.
Thanks for reading, go grab some trophies.
