Welcome to the NBA Macro Minute! This is a short article focused on macro environments and trending players. The goal here is to identify easy spots to focus or remove from slates and make DFS a bit easier.

Macro NBA Defensive Stats

- UTA Leads the slate by a mile in terms of fantasy points per minute allowed at 1.11
- BOS and LAC are the lowest at .91 each
- DAL currently at .40 FGA per minute, a pretty wild amount
Macro NBA Combo Stats

- While UTA is the nuts matchup, LAC plays slow, making for a median environment
- In fact, there’s not much separating the environments because of the LAC/UTA and SAC/BOS matchups being in opposition
- This slate will be more about the micro level
Trending Players

Michael Sasser has some great adjusted medians, but be wary of his rotation. The values people will be heavier on are Walter Clayton Jr. (also in this table with a 7+ ceiling value) and Isaiah Collier.
If you want to research these dudes yourself, go over to the gamelogs tool and look into their rotations and performances!
Portfolio Analysis Exposures

When you run 1,000 lineups into the portfolio manager and do some filtering, you end up with the above results. Some notes:
- There is some strong edge on Svi Mykhailiuk and Cooper Flagg
- Brice Sensabaugh is a bit overvalued but still a very strong play
- Your core is likely going to be Collier/Clayton/Kawhi
Very clear focus on UTA here from the models, you’ll be wanting to rotate them around your builds. Kawhi is the preferred spend up but Flagg is very interesting as a large field option.
Thanks for reading, go grab some trophies.
