Welcome to the NBA Macro Minute! This is a short article focused on macro environments and trending players. The goal here is to identify easy spots to focus or remove from slates and make DFS a bit easier.

Macro NBA Defensive Stats
- CHI and WAS lead the slate at 1.10 fantasy points per minute allowed each
- MEM is the lowest at .92
- UTA giving up the most points per minute at .54
Macro NBA Combo Stats
- The best matchup is CHA/CHI followed by WAS/CLE (no surprises on either front)
- The spot to avoid is DAL/BKN for the most part (there are some intriguing BKN values)
- MEM/UTA is super interesting with how stingy the MEM defensive is
As noted I think MEM/UTA is a sneaky valuable spot if UTA can push the pace.
Trending Players
While there are a handful of MME values here, I think there are a bunch of guys you just cross off because of circumstance. Both the MEM and BKN options are hurt quite a bit by the return of starters, and I’m a bit skeptical that Clayton continues to be an 8x value. That said, Nembhard, Williams, and MPJ all look like good upside bets at their current pricing.
